We are also interested in items that don't quite fit in traditional registries. Both of us love handmade glass and pottery, and we enjoy the idea of having things in our home that are beautiful, practical, and unique to the artist who made them. Additionally, we are scheming and dreaming about our own home (still a vague speculation, but a dear one)--part of that vision entails solar panels and an off-grid chest freezer.
